Incorporated in 1994, MCSL is a deposit-taking, systemically important non-banking financial company (NBFC). While it began operations in 1995, MCSL started its lending activities in 1998 after obtaining an NBFC license. Initially focused on gold loans, the company later expanded into the two-wheeler financing segment and gradually exited the gold loan business as its group scaled up its operations in MFL.
